LUNES 9:53  (Atentado a la Amia. Memoria Activa y su lucha contra la impunidad)

El lunes 18 de julio de 1994 a las 9:53 se produjo el mayor atentato terrorista antisemita desde la terminación de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Se destruyó el centenario edificio de la AMIA, sede de la comunidad judía en Argentina, con un saldo de 85 muertos y casi 250 heridos.  A partir de entonces, un grupo de familiares y amigos de las víctimas, se reunen frente al edificio de los Tribunales, en Plaza Lavalle, para exigir justicia.  Bernardo Kononovich, documentarista y psicoanalista capta con su cámara las alternativas de tan inédito y original acto ciudadano que se sostuvo ininterrupidamente durante diez años, casi 500 lunes, con la consigna que alguna vez enarbolara el profeta Isaías : “Justicia, justicia perseguirás”.  La gente, los testimoniantes, escritores, científicos y artistas, el toque del tradicional shofar, la reacción de los transeuntes y la entrevista con dos de sus dirigentes se conjugan en la escena de este único video.

Synopsis:

On Monday, July 18, 1994 at 9:53 am was executed the worst antisemitic terrorist attack since the end of the second world war.  It was destroyed the centenary building of the AMIA, headquarters of the Jewish community in Argentina, with a toll of 85 dead and nearly 250 wounded.
Since then, a group of relatives and friends of the victims gather on the public square across the street to the building of the courts to demand justice.
This film documents this unprecedented and original civic event that was held uninterruptedly for ten years,  for almost 500 Mondays.
Public, witnesses, writers, scientists and artists, the blow of the traditional shofar, the reaction of the passers-by and the interview with two of their leaders, are combined in this unique video scene.
